Will You Desire U.S. Cellular’s Newest Android Phone?

Now that Android has landed on all the major carriers, it’s time for regional carriers like U.S. Cellular to start feeling the droid love. The HTC Desire is part of the first cluster of Android phones to hit U.S. Cellular and it’s mighty nice. While it looks like the son of a Nexus One and Droid Eris, it’s packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor under the hood and a 3.7-inch Super LCD display.
In our review, we praised the phone’s soft-touch rubberized backing, vivid screen, as well as U.S. Cellular’s unique Battery Swap program. If you find yourself running out of juice, stop by the nearest U.S. Cellular store and swap your dead battery for a new one. We really like this goodwill gesture and wish that more carriers offered it.
